Manny & Joy Medina were invited
to return to the amazing experience of "Camp Haze" on Wednesday,
August 21, by Amy Callahan, the director.... MJ happily accepted!

Dan Drabik
who wrote the first article, had a flight at JFK airport scheduled to
return him to the Buffalo, NY (Grand Island) area at 3 PM so MJ's mom,
GG. volunterred to take him as Manny & Joy, Luis, their Dad and I
(David) their manager, drove back to camp Haze/Kennybrook... apx 2 hours
from NYC.)

This was a very special experience for all of us. Manny & Joy have
performed for tens of thousands of people. This was one of their most
enjoyable concerts ever!

Some of the children asked
MJ
to sing their song "In Line Boy"....
but they only had time for 3 songs. |

| When we arrived, many of the children
recognized MJ and gave them an abundance of hugs and asked..."are you
going to sing 'Skate Dance'
song"? We saw alot of television news crews. They were interviewing
many of the people on the site. MJ located "DJ Rick" and we immediadely
began to plan today's show. |
After the show, MJ rushed back to New York City to do their live
TV show that airs in prime time from 7-9 pm. They missed dinner and
grabbed a "bite" from one on the vendors on the way to the TV
station.

After "Spiderman" and
other cartoon characters made an appearance, MJ gave an uplifting mini concert
including "Skate Dance" , "Get On the Floor & Skate Now"
and also "I'll Be Here For You". The crowd was very enthusiastic!!! |
