MJ will perform at the national D.A.R.E. convention in Atlantic City on April 17, 2001 MJ have been invited to send their Middle School Concert Documentary to New York City Schools to arrange for more MJ school assemblies in the NYC area. MJ will perform in the Hoboken Music & Art Festival on May 6, 2001. MJ will perform in the Latin International Festival, in Hoboken, NJ on June 24, 2001 MJ are being coached by "Terry Taylor", the amazing NYC studio vocalist who was sung with music industry giants like with "Celine Dion", "Prince" & "Lenny Kravitz", Currently MJ are in SkyRoom Studios with Terry & Dr D, working on two new hot tracks for MJ's second solo album from One World Records. |

Some recent events... MJ have performed for a total of apx 30,000 teens on this tour! MJ was also the Half Time show for the Buffalo Blizzards Soccer team at the HSBC Arena on 11/4/00. MJ were featured on WWOR TV, CH 9 in New York City on New Year's Day, 2001 On 12/16/00, "Phil Temple" who wrote "Waiting For Tonight", the 8x Platinum Smash Hit for "Jennifer Lopez", wrote, produced and recorded a song for MJ called "Crush On You". Terry Taylor sang the backup tracks with MJ. On October 17, 2000, MJ performed for 16,000 kids at the HSBC Arena for the Promedicus Health Groups' "Red Ribbon Rally" anti-drug convention for teens. This was a live WebCast, the first of it's type in internet history from a jumbotron! MJ were on Star 102.5 FM on Tues. 9/12/00, and were on The ABC TV Show "AM Buffalo" twice in 2000 and on an NBC News Show. MJ were involved with the "Take A Stand" eCD from MTV that won an Emmy Award. Manny actually has a solo on the theme song for the sound track. The Backstreet Boys & Lauryn Hill are also on this CD. MJ have starred in over 100 cartoons already as voice over actors, and/or singers!... The Yokies, Magica, Beachdog & Tombik & B.B. MJ were interviewed on "Latino.com", the #1 Latino Website on 1/3/00 The MJ site enjoyed 15,000 hits over the tour and over 100,000 hits since! MJ were featured on the "Viva Roberto" Live TV Show with an audience of 3,900,000! MJ were sponsored by the "Legends & Heroes" clothing company! Bio Summary MJ are a truly gifted and dedicated bilingual, Latino brother and sister team, sort of like a "Donnie and Marie" for the next generation. (14 & 13 years old, English & Spanish, from the Metro NYC area.) They Act, Sing, Dance and now write songs too. At the Red Ribbon Rally, MJ were the featured act and pweformed their new Hip Hop anthem.... "We, Are, Drug, Free!" as well as their song "I'll Be Here For You" and the title track of the new "Skate Danceª" album. Their music videos played on the jumbotron screens! MJ are coaching with "Danilo Sobers", , the choreographer for major artists like "Boys II Men, Mariah Carey, 'Lil Kim, R. Kelly, LL Cool J, Jay Z " and more! MJ study opera vocal performance with Mario Lisanti from Hoboken, NJ. (One of Mario's most well know students is Ms. Phoebe Snow.) They also study "pop" and "soul" stylings with Terry Taylor, (who has sung with amnazing vocalists like "Celine Dion, Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Angie Stone, Deangelo & Puff Daddy", to name a few.) MJ are eternally grateful for their kindness and encouragement. MJ are about the message. Their stage performance is awesome, but their message is where it's at! Recently Manny was featured with a solo on a special MTV enhanced CD titled "Fight for your rights: Take A Stand against violence". The Backstreet Boys, Lauryn Hill, The Dave Matthews Band, Alanis Morisette, Tori Amos, Green Day, The Beastie Boys, Everclear, Q-tip and even Method Man are currently on the same album with Manny! Not only has the album gone Platinum with the US Government giving away 1,000,000 copies, the campaign won an Emmy Award. There are 5 Quicktime movies on the eCD. Manny & Joy both were actors in the development of one of the videos. It actually looks like a video game or a website. More info on this is available from MTV.com or TakeAStand.com. MJ were recently selected to represent the Latino music scene by a new clothing company titled "Legends & Heroes". Scott Collins, the president has informed us that "*NSync" represents pop boy bands, "Brian McNight" represents Male R&B. Recently Whitney Houston' staff wore "Heroes" clothing at a party she gave in NYC for her father. This company believes that MJ are "Legends & Heroes" in their own time for the lyrics and messages they proclaim in their music and has honored them for this reason. MJ will wear the new product line that is set for Jan. 2001 release, as they tour the nation! MJ recently were featured in NYC on UPN 9 Broadcast TV. MJ were interviewed on the most famous Latino Website "Latino.com". MJ performed on the "AM BUFFALO" Talk Show on ABC TV in Buffalo, NY and they were featured on NBC TV in Buffalo as well. MJ also gave stunning performances at many Roller Rinks. MJ have been featured in a variety of newspapers including the Jersey Journal Newspaper! MJ are also voice over artists and actors. Together they star in over 100 cartoons as character voices. Manny has starred in performances of "Fame" and "Grease" in the NYC area. Joy also performed in both. They sing the theme song to 3 cartoons and also the theme for a new children's TV show called Drew's Famous Magical Juke Box. They are also the featured artists on the song "Frosty the Snowman" for a new Christmas CD and are featured in the song "Brand New Key" on the "Kid Power" CD that is on the "Turn Up The Music"-"Drew's Famous Party Music" record label. (Drewsfamous.com) Manny sang on "Spread Peace All Over The World" that was used by the United Nations at the 50th Anniversary in 1995 when Manny was only 8 years old! MJ released an enhanced CD with 19 tracks and a music video on Friday, June 16, 2000. MJ are the featured artists for a new album on Skate Danceª Records titled "Skate Danceª" scheduled for release on October 17, 2000 in Buffalo, NY at the rally. MJ gave a stunning perfomance on the campus of Stevens Institute of Technology in the NYC area.
