The brother and sister duo, Manny and Joy Medina, also known as MJ, shows an excellent future spreading positive messages throughout the new millennium. Their message is telling future generations to stay off of drugs. The reasons are simple. They distroy peoples' lives, rip families apart, and turn hard work into a waste of time. "Drugs can kill you, especially the illegal ones like LSD or crack. It's crazy, and they still do it" says Manny. MJ is a great example to all people saying that you don't need drugs for any reason. Their actions should make people stop and think about doing drugs. You can do anything that you want with your life and there is no reason to just throw it away. Their song We, Are, Drug, Free! tells of an experience with some one they know and how drugs ruined the person's life. A reason like that is reason enough not to do drugs. MJ is beginning to take hold of thousands of people, in the WNY area especially. They have done many concerts in Buffalo and it's schools. Their big one was at the Red Ribbon Rally at the HSBC Arena on October 17, 2000. Thousands of young adults packed the arena and had an indescribable experience! MJ is on their way to success. Their CD is packed with high energy music and fun, while at the same time sending the message that life is too important to waste. This album is definitely worth getting.
