Musial's doctoral studies in Sound Design and Music Technology, were under full scholarship or sponsorship at the Juilliard School of Music & New York University. Musial is an educator at heart, in addition to his contributions to the Stevens campus, he was on staff at NYU for seven years in the '90s. David has decided to return to the academic world with the condition that he can continue to oversee his corporation and bring more "current" projects into the classroom setting for Stevens students to enjoy... One World Artists, LLC is an artist development company. It is education based. The intention is to discover new talent, mold, direct and launch them into the pop music industry. What happens once they are they is up to the artist to explore. There are several divisions: One World Artists Management, One World Artists Productions, One World Post Production, SkyRoom Studios, OneWam Music Publishing, World Art Records, Smart Trax™ Records, Skate Dance™ Records and Model Hits™ Records (co-owned by MMS Music, Inc, Musial is the president, Artie Regan, CEO of Manhattan Model Search, is the CEO). Musial's compositions have aired on ABC, NBC, CBS & UPN stations. Musial created sound designs for the world's largest Omnimax theater, a Sony Playstation video game and even an amusement park ride song. One song, “Spread Peace All Over The World”, produced by Musial, was used by the United Nations for the 50th anniversary! Musial's compositions have been approved and endorsed by the U.S. Department of Education and Justice, and the Partnership for a Drug Free America, (His song "We, Are, Drug, Free won first place in the State of New Jersey and was awarded the performance of the year at the national conference-April-2004),. Musial’s compositions have been often requested and hired by DARE America. The NYC Department of Health's Reality Check program honored him with involvement in their venture and the MADD/BuzzFreeProm.com organization cited his song “Everything’s A Blur”. Most recently, a song he co-wrote and produced, was requested by the United Way, to be performed at the 2004 “Kick Off” campaign near Giants Stadium and now he is working on a project for the National Hemophilia Foundations’ “Get Out The Song” campaign co-organized by a producer from a Broadway Show. Currently a song he wrote, “Go With The Flo”, (the theme to a New York City TV Show), is enjoying radio airplay across the nation. Musial completed his doctorate studies under full teaching scholarship, at New York University, in Music Technology, where he earned several public STUDENT recognitions as favored instructor. David also received an outstanding endorsement by Dr. Lawrence Ferrara, Chair of the Music Department. Musial conducted his Master’s studies in Sound Design & Orchestration, under full sponsorship, at the Juilliard School of Music & New York University. David earned hid Bachelors degree from the State University of New York’s Fredonia campus, under the direction of David Moulton, which was prestigious at the time in the mid ‘80’s. Musial completed his Associates in Electrical Technology, Engineering and Communications Equipment Technology (TV) at Erie Community College and the State University of New York, at Buffalo. Musial has also given presentations at Seton Hall and Rutgers University as well. In addition, he was granted the “Alumni of the Year” award in 1995 for Erie Community College, the community college system for most of Western New York State. Later that year, he received the most prestigious a award, an opportunity to be the “poster” person to represent the institution’s 50th anniversary where his image was used or one year in print media, his bio was used in media commercials and he was on billboards all over Western New York State because of his entrepreneurial musical success. Music has studied music privately from the age of seven. At the age of ten, he accepted his first compensated position as professional church pipe organist. At sixteen he purchased a "Minimoog" synthesizer which he used in his rock band but also in church... he was a bit of a musical "rebel". He produced his first album for the local church contemporary group at age 19. Since then he has conducted a variety of choirs and even performed with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. His state-of-the-art, “SkyRoom” studios complex, is located on the 35th floor of a penthouse tower, overlooking the New York harbor. This is where some of the technology courses are conducted. At SkyRoom, Musial has developed a variety of artists. Two groups, "Forever Chozen" and "John Doe" were signed to Sony Music based on demo songs David produced. David Stellmach, another Stevens faculty member, has been produced by Musial and he enjoys CD sales where ever he performs. In the summer of 2003, a song Musial produced for Stellmach, "Ground Swell", earned the prestigious second place award for new "Smooth Jazz" artist of the year contest, on New York's famous "CD 101.9" FM radio station! Musial has also produced songs for "Roger Ansanelli" who recently appeared in a movie with "Beth Midler", and he has also appeared on Saturday Night Live several times. One of his acts, "MJ Medina" , Manny & Joy, have enjoyed incredible career growth success. This brother and Sister Latino pop at has been trained by musial since they were just 6 & 8 years old. Now ten years later, they have had their own live NYC TV show (for 2 years, arranged by Musial), they have 2 solo CD's and each have a solo EP. They have been on stage for over 250,000 people. They contributed to the "Take A Stand" project as well as over 100 cartoons, and have been featured on a variety of TV shows from NY to Hollywood, all arranged by Musial. In the summer of 2003, Manny appeared on an MTV live singing show, just after completing a tour with the Manhattan Model Search music division. Currently, Musial is producing songs for Ms. Ashley Avis, (one with Emmanuel Medina). Ashley earned the title "Miss Teen Model Of The Universe, 2003". There are many more artists Musial has assisted. David’s hobbies are encouraging others to succeed, improvising art, jogging and swimming with his dog, snorkeling, boogie boarding, black diamond skiing, roller blading, motocross dirt bike riding and wave running and water skiing.
